REAL FASHION. REAL INGREDIENTS. REAL ACCESSIBLE.
Founded in Los Angeles by Chinese American celebrity designer Sonia Hou, SONIA HOU Jewelry is world’s first inclusive jewelry brand, where modern designs honor diversity and celebrate global cultures.
With over a decade of experience, Sonia is known for creating high-quality, accessible, and timeless designs infused with meaningful cultural storytelling, resonating with today’s style-conscious, diverse consumer. Her pieces have been worn by celebrities and featured on CNBC, PEOPLE, POPSUGAR, Forbes, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, Insider, and major TV shows including NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s The View, and Tamron Hall Show. Sonia’s journey began in college, where she struggled to find stylish, affordable jewelry that was both skin-safe and long-lasting. After experiencing allergic reactions from low-quality metals, she launched SONIA HOU Jewelry in 2012—pioneering demi-fine jewelry that bridges fine and fashion jewelry, using quality 18K/24K gold and sterling silver at accessible price points.
Most recently, the brand was worn by multiple U.S. Olympic figure skaters at the 2026 Winter Olympics, including gold medalist Ellie Kam, and featured on NBC’s Today Show and FOX 11 LA. It has also been recognized by PEOPLE, InStyle, POPSUGAR, NBC News, and Insider as an AAPI brand to support.
Sonia previously designed the iconic “FIRE” earrings worn by U.S. figure skater Mirai Nagasu during her historic triple axel at the 2018 Winter Olympics—the first American woman to land the jump—later recognized by POPSUGAR as “part of U.S. history.”
